Getting in touch with your Doctors office can be difficult at times. We will happily contact your Doctor for you to obtain refills, make recommendations and discuss any concerns you may have about your medications.

If you are out of refills on your regular medication and your Doctor is away or has not responded in time, you can count on us to have you covered.  We understand that continuity of care is important for positive health outcomes. Our Pharmacist will conduct a therapeutic assessment and if appropriate, dispense enough medication to make sure you do not go without.

Going on a holiday? Before you leave make sure that you have enough medication on hand to last while you are away.  We are happy to provide our patients with holiday supplies to ensure you do not run out while travelling. Very often we can contact your home pharmacy or Doctors office to verify your prescription.  Our Pharmacist will conduct a therapeutic assessment based on the information provided and if appropriate, issue you an emergency refill so that you do not go without your medication.

We are happy to offer free Hepatitis C screening for anyone in our community. Hepatitis C is a chronic liver infection where 40% of people affected do not know they have the disease. Complications include liver scarring and liver cancer. There are many risk factors that people may not be aware of. Did you know that people born between 1945 and 1975 and those who have had blood transfusions and organ transplants before 1992 should be screened?  Talk to us about getting screened. We provide rapid on site testing, which takes no more than 10 minutes and provide a referral to a healthcare specialist who can help treat the infection.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is a way for people who do not have HIV but who are at risk of getting HIV to prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day.  When taken daily, PrEP is highly effective for preventing HIV. Studies have shown that PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99% when taken daily. Our pharmacy proudly offers PrEP dispensing services and will provide you a referral to a healthcare specialist.
